STARTING FEBRUARY 7th, 2024 for 10 weeks

Wednesdays 5pm-6pm

If you are:

  • Feeling unsafe in your body, hard to connect with your body.

  • Feeling withdrawn from wanting to hang out with your besties, family, or partner because you are so exhausted from stress?

  • Annoyed with life at the end of a long day and just want to retreat to your bedroom and lock the door?

  • Struggling with panic attacks, high anxiety, chronic pain and/or sleep problems?

The cost of not solving these problems...

  • Risk having to take more time off work or having to feel dysregulated while trying to make a living whether that's at home, home office or an out of home job.

  • Feeling relationships being strained and damaged from your ongoing anger, anxiety frustration and stress.

  • Continuing to experience panic attacks, dissociation and dysregulation without tools that actually work.

  • Having zero motivation to exercise or move, even though you KNOW movement would help you.

  • Wasting precious self-care time by scrolling endlessly on social media to avoid your feelings.

  • Feeling so bombarded by trauma that it just comes up and feels difficult to manage.

During this group you will learn:

  • How trauma effects our brains and bodies and how TSY can help you reduce symptoms and feel more connected to your body.

  • How to develop a toolbox of movement strategies for stress reduction for YOU, personalized for what you feel comfortable with...not what the gurus all say is good for you.

  • How to practice body movement without striving, without judgement and with CHOICE and curiosity.

  • Practice repeatable experiential exercises including trauma sensitive yoga movements and breathing techniques.

  • Moving through active and calm movements and what that is like for your body.

  • Experience self driven yoga experience that is unique to your body, skill level and comfort!

  • Given affirmations during practice for empowerment and grounding

  • Create a TS yoga practice for daily use after group.

KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU'RE TRIGGERED by Noticing...Increase Awareness... and Self-Discovery... rather than changing or solving the problem.  Being mindfully aware with curiosity without judgement.

This group will help you achieve:

  • Understanding of how trauma influences our brains, feelings, thinking and behavior.

  • Improved ability to access coping tools to reduce moments of trauma triggers, anxiety and stress.

  • Connect better with mind/body

  • Notice situations, feelings, thoughts and actions with acceptance  more often.

  • Improve relationships with friends, family and/or partners and coworkers by setting better boundaries for yourself and your healing.

  • Better overall holistic health including sleep, eating habits and motivation to exercise or move your body.
